First..Thank God they did not blow another one.

Second, this team is in desperate shape on defense. Besides Risto and a rookie named Dahlin, this is a hodgepodge of 3rd paring talent at best. For the life of me I can't see how anyone thinks Scandella is a first pairing D man. To put it bluntly, he sucks in that role. His lack of speed alone screams for him to be pushed down to second and maybe even third pair. Problem is, he's all we got. If I were Botts, I would be scrambling to find a trade partner to land a legit first pair D man before this season slips away...again.
